Temporary Internet Files
The temporary internet files are very similar to cookies. They relate to certain files, such as images that have been loaded while you were working on a specific website.

These files can build up rather quickly. It is not uncommon to have thousands with just a few days of surfing the web. So be sure that you are cleaning out this file every week at least.

Some versions of Windows have a clean up application built in. You can also purchase software that does this for you. No matter what you choose, you need to keep it clean so that the computer will run properly.
